the schwinndy city! i have been in chicago the past few days and there are very cool bikes, particularly schwinn bikes, *everywhere*. while helping my sister gather life bits for a new apartment, i have kept myself very entertained snapping shots of my bike’s brethren. no sportabout sightings, but i did note a traveler, a varsity, a racer, a super le tour, a prelude, and a sprint.
schwinn has a long history in the u.s.a., with a start in chicago in 1895.

I witnessed first hand the schwinndy city bikes. It has been a very lovely three days and the bikes all very fun and happy. Great job with the samples offered for all to enjoy.

Funny that I took a pic of a yellow schwinn bike in Seattle on the same day as your Schwinn hunt. It reminded me of you, Ms. Kitty. Made me smile more than the second helping of salted caramel ice cream I was about to devour. Which is saying a lot. This post reminds me to send the pic your way…
