another another nice place. good beer and good atmosphere on many, many occasions over the years. not sure what the lacey bike out front is for, but assume it is for something lovely… no matter, the place has great beer.

another nice place — the torvehallerne market. fruits, vegetables, italian rolls, duck confit, french cheese, end-of-day smorrebrod, adorable baked goods, organic wine, pizza on a late-evening walk by, picnic fixings, fresh juice, fresh herbs, and other fabulously fancy foods…

bike promotion for a really nice place.

n in town and a great night with unexpected participatory art (e.g. bbq bread on a stick). stepped up evening consumption with top-mart pizza/wine/tiramisu, and another wine capper on the way home. eating, drinking, and even talking about switzerland — when we saw this bike! n says: this is all about community.

no film today, but maybe tomorrow… i really appreciate having a place like this here! as i definitely posted enough bikes today. but, maybe it will be sunny again tomorrow?

the bridge was people packed this night, as with most sun-soaked evenings this past week. bikes staged alongside the rows of people sharing beers, playing music, and also watching swans on the lake.

daylight. nightlight. i decided to start a new set of photos that highlight bikes, but also surroundings. and also pairings. (most bikes did not receive tags). this is all put together after my meanderings, using whatever i collected for the day. most motivation here from spring-time sunlight!

what a neat pair! yellow/green tagged, but both noted equally. i especially like the handlebars on the black ride — hopefully these can be seen in this photo. function that really is fun.

felt like spring today, and i was happy to finally snap shots of this style of bike… i like the lines! two of four were tagged, and the yellow puch was especially fitting after my week in vienna noting these austrian beauties. turquoise in the sun was calling to me.

now this one was really perfect for what i was scouting out. instead of the normal tags, i had a special treat to leave in a basket — and this basket was definitely the one for it! (treat akin to randomness from the automats that dispense bouncy balls and other toys, and i hope it was a fun find!)

my mind conjured memories of pink bikes i have noted in the past weeks, so the next tag in my bag was ready for one i remembered seeing before… however, the pink on pink hearts struck my romantic side and was tagged!

brown+blue! how could this not catch my eye on this saturday sportabout… i was waiting to be inspired and here it was.

days here have been very gray lately. so, wearing orange and red, i went for a sunday walk with gray, orange, and red in mind. handmade black/white checkerboard was the liveliest version of gray that i saw on the streets. peugeot in orange/red caught my eye! i was not prepped with tags for the bottom two bikes, but they fit the theme (and another theme of their own — do these low riders have a name?).

what a night: i spotted another schwinn in copenhagen! parked nearby to my own nonetheless. heading home after lovely Chandeleur festivities (French for “pancake day”). dark night and grainy photo but it is the real thing. looking good, but i am curious to know the type!

backpost feature #2: carrier bikes! not actually sure what these neat front loaders are called, but i think they make a great ride. sturdy classics.

a tag, at last! this one caught my attention awhile back, and as i pass it on my way to work it is nice to give this old bike the recognition it deserves.

one, two, three, tagged! so far there has been major lack of cruisers in this log of noted bikes. crazy, because i really like cruisers. all colors. all cruisers that made me smile this week are represented, but on this sunny afternoon the last one was particularly smile-worthy and ended up with a tag.

in this busy area, i wonder what to do if caught tagging (literally: tying a homemade tag) on the noticed bike… awkward interaction vs. meeting nice person? after curbside gelato, encouraging friends and i found this blue beauty also enjoying the sun — nice color, nice lines.

simple. and lovely. ring, ding, ding! found on a sidestreet while exploring a new neighborhood.

concept launch: gold. red. ghost! first day of tagging bikes makes for a good afternoon with visiting friends (very supportive visiting friends).
